The COVID-19 coronavirus disease pandemic has severely strained the entire health system. More accurate predictions of the extent of COVID-19 lung infection could help with hospitalization and treatment decisions. The Medical Physics program group (FMF) and the Association of Mathematicians, Physicists and Astronomers of Slovenia are organizing a hackathon. The groups will compete in developing an algorithm that will predict the extent of COVID-19 infection in the lungs from chest CT images.
