We have developed a bottom-up model of immunotherapy response in concert with a rigorous calibration in a murine model. This was crucial in identifying the critical importance of the major histology complex (MHC) class I expression for the success of immunotherapy. We published a summary of methods developed within the group and their relation to others in a review paper. We also showed that a model of cell dynamics combined with quantitative imaging could identify drug-sensitive and drug-resistant lesions within individual patients (PCF Challenge grant).
