On Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, IJS and FMF organized the “International Masterclass 2026” workshop for high school students. It was held as part of the international particle physics workshops under the auspices of the International Particle Physics Outreach Group, which take place in March in 64 different countries.
During the workshop, students learned about fundamental particles in physics, their use in medical physics, and particle detectors. In the second part of the workshop, they learned about data processing and drew up a radiation plan for radiotherapy.
The workshop concluded with a video conference connection with other countries and short presentations.
