The RIS competition is a competition of developing new analytical methods in medicine, with a focus on machine learning. It is organised by the Medical Physics Programme Group (UL FMF) and the DMFA.
The main theme of this year’s competition is Tumor lesion segmentation.
The competition is open to students competing in teams of up to three members.
The competition will start with an introductory lecture (18.3.2024) explaining the broad background of the problem. Two levels of competition will follow. The first level lasts 14 days (until 1.4.2024) and serves as a qualification for the second level of the competition, which will be held from 19-22.4.2024.
