While Slovenia does not have proton therapy, significant efforts are underway to open a Slovenian Proton Center (SIPTC), with MPRP members being key experts and consultants to government bodies and the general public [3417700, 47448067, 44080899]. Since 2018 we are closely cooperating with our industrial partner Cosylab,initiating a large international consortium focused on Real-time Adaptive Particle Therapy for Cancer (RAPTOR) targeted at the development and implementation of adaptive particle therapy (H2020-MSCA-ITN-2020 ID 955956 grant).
